Iowa State University has been granted 31 patents in 2014 and coupled with the University of South Carolina and the University of Arkansas on the list of top 100 universities around the world granted utility patents. As per the president, Steven Leath, an extensive assortment of “technology transfer” is involved in the 31 patents .
